The design process is one of the most complicated and multi-phased parts of the overall process of creating a garment. This path has numerous phases, from which it is already possible to act to begin to map out the sustainability of the garment. These are some of the eco-design methods that we use at Circu:
Fashion through a concept: All our collections are born from a unique concept created from our happy memories, summer, history, colour and the Mediterranean inspiration of the Costa Blanca. This way we can guarantee that our garments are created with greater creativity, with added sentimental value and a unique design. Digital Fashion: Digital fashion significantly reduces material waste and carbon footprint. By avoiding physical production until necessary, we minimize the environmental impact. In this way, ideas, patterns and prototypes are first made digitally.
Recycled and Organic Materials: The fabric is the canvas of the garment. We do not conceive a canvas that does not provide sustainability. That is why we use fibers such as organic cotton and recycled materials such as ECONYL recycled Polyamide that reduce water and chemical consumption, supporting biodiversity and the health of soils and ecosystems that are so important.
Efficient Cutting Techniques: We reduce fabric waste through advanced industrial cutting and marking techniques, including laser cutting, which allows the fabric to be used more efficiently.
Eco-friendly printing: Water-based inks are less toxic and reduce water pollution, contributing to cleaner production. All of them are Oeko-Tex® 100 certified, which respects the care of customers' skin.
Design for Recycling: We design with the end of a garment's useful life in mind, facilitating its future recycling or reuse. In this way, less is more, avoiding accessories and processes that can make it difficult to create a cyclical life for our garments and materials.
