Throughout our first years as a brand, we have been combining university studies with the development of Circu. In addition, on a personal level we have achieved great recognitions that support our effort to create sustainable fashion and create a positive impact on the planet.

The founder and designer Ángela Martí participated in the National Bathroom Fashion Award, with her personal collection "Emprencipiar" with which she managed to reach the final phase and win the 2022 National Eco Bathroom Award.

This collection is a reflection of how we work on sustainability and positive impact at Circu and the true roots of everything that inspires us to design. This is how Ángela narrates in the first person what this personal milestone entailed:

"Entrepreneurship is the result of finding my identity as a designer. What inspires me is everything that makes me happy; my family, my Mediterranean land and summer.

I grew up in the orchard, surrounded by fields, a blue sky and lots of color. Today I recover everything that I remember and long for with nostalgia. It fills me to create collections and concepts through my memories.

Entrepreneurship is a collection that emanates from the essence of Vega Baja, my native region. The look at the past and tradition together with the technical advances in the sector and digitization, culminated in a proposal with a positive impact for society and the Planet, my goal as a designer in each of my collections.

Sustainable design is very important to it, having taken into account every detail, from its pattern making in Clo 3D to saving material resources, such as its recycled fabrics. For this, I have had such important companies within the sector as Coats, Econyl or Recovo, giving great importance to hemp fiber"

A collection full of color, prints, asymmetries and laces that paraded at sunset in Benidorm to the rhythm of a paso doble. The Entrepreneurship collection culminated in the contest by obtaining the Eco Baño Award, which was validated by the jury as the most sustainable National Award collection. An economic boost to continue promoting this important change in society and in the fashion industry, now with Circu as the main way to revolutionize sustainable fashion on the national scene.
